Had my finally Spanish class last night. Learned a lot although I still can only speak simple things like telling the time. Going to do some studying on my own for awhile and then I'll probably take some more classes.
The DSL saga continues but I think this is the end. AT&T switched the data path to interleave and lowered the download speed. Last tech had a load coil changed out on my line at the central office. Looks like between 2 to 2.5 megs download and 384kb upload is the best I'm going to get but at least I don't seem to be losing sync anymore so I can start Rsync before going to bed at night and wake up to everything being on my server. Guess I can live with this until U-verse is available where I live.
Finally made it out to the Coconut Creek Hard Rock Casino. I'm told that the one in Hollywood is nicer but as I don't gamble and not into eating food until I look like a blimp I'm not sure that I would enjoy that one anymore then this one. Needless to say I was bored half to death and was glad when our little outing was over but at least now I can say I've been there.
Came home and watched the Sara Conners Chronicles and the Battlestar Galactica. Had to believe that next week's episode is the serials final of Battlestar Galactica. Is it Friday the 20th yet...
