We had Spanish class tonight and didn't realize that I had left my purse in the classroom until we got home. Not sure if I forgot it because of lack of sleep or because I was carrying my books and it just didn't occur to me that I was forgetting it since I was already carrying something or maybe because I was freezing my ass off, needing to pee, and in a hurry to get home or maybe I'm just getting old and forgetful.
Just as we were pulling into the driveway I realized that I had forgotten it when I went to reach for it. We had already hit the garage door opener so we couldn't just turn around due to the door tripping the alarm so I ran into the house and Christy turned around and headed back to the school.
I was absolutely freaking out for the five minutes or so it took her to get back to the school classroom but luckily someone that worked at the school was just outside the classroom that was now locked and my purse was still on the floor next to the desk I was sitting at. They let her in and after asking her what the name was on the ID that was in the purse they let her have my purse.
I'm one of those women that carries a huge purse with my life in it and it would have taken my weeks to replace everything in it not to mention a lot of money as well. I'm still trying to relax and calm down...
