One hundred years ago today our government decided against a proposal for the U.S. government to purchase, install and operate pneumatic tubes.
Personally I think it would have been great if we had pneumatic tubes linking everything. We would have pneumatic tube pizza and sushi. Sending our cat to the vet would just involve kitty going for a wild ride. The possibilities are endless.
It's been raining all day so I haven't made it out the door to get a new toilet seat for the guest room toilet since ours broke last night. I guess pneumatic tubes wouldn't have really helped in this case unless toilet seat sized pneumatic tubes had been decided on but pizza could have been easily rolled up into a tube.
